Yep, you read that right! This is a sock swap with a scrappy ending! Here is how it will work. I will place 2 pair of socks in an envelope. These will get mailed to the next participant, who will pick one pair to keep and replace with a pair they bought. They will then mail to the next participant. The last swapper will then mail back to me and I will pick a pair. Next phase is the scrappy part. Create a LO or mini or tag book what ever you would like to share your sock story. Maybe you would like to take photos of you in your socks through out the day. How about photos of your socks around town. You could do a LO with family members wearing the socks. You get the idea, have fun with it. Lets make these funky and wild if possible for some wow factor. There is no maximum number of participants. You will be responsible to purchase 1 pair of socks and for the postage to mail to the next participant. I will take sign-ups until November 30th. You can start shopping for your socks anytime so that we can make this a quick turnaround once shipping starts. This should be a fun and easy swap. So who is ready to get their socks on?

totally bummed - found the perfect pair of socks at the store - got ready to check out and there was a snag of course it was the only pair. Yes, I was going to buy them even without knowing if there was a theme or something. They were fun - figured I would keep them if they wouldn't work for the swap. Oh well - now to keep up the search.

I'll join. Do we all have about the same sock size? I wear a size 10 shoe

Never thought of that - I bought size that would fit me. I wear 10 or 11 (or sometimes 9.5 depending on brand). So if you have tiny, size 5 feet, the socks I bought may be a bit large Just make them knee socks

I'll join. Now I have to run out and buy a pair, since I'm joining at the end. It sounds like fun. Looking forward to everything about this. Maybe I can out them on Matty, our dog, who had surgery last Wednesday for his third round of mast cell cancer.

Hmmm...now I'm really going to go out tomorrow and buy the socks!
I moved the Peekaboo basics right strip into the field of reading by accident. I forget how to correct it. Can anyone tell me, please?

Karen, Socks in, socks out. Cute choices. Do we post before everyone has the socks or wait? Cec, socks should be at your house today. Kathi

Thanks for the update. You can work on whatever you plan on doing with the socks. A day in my life LO(showing the socks of course) or just a fun photo with them that you matted. Maybe even include in your family Christmas photo . But wait until everyone has had a chance to receive their socks before you post photos. That will be phase 2 of this swap.
