Faithbooking has been moving along better? more effectively? I am not really sure how to describe, but I am definitely using scripture to nourish my soul - trying for daily. I have a different approach I heard about online - SOAP Scripture Observation Application Prayer I know there are lots of methods, but this is one that is finally clicking a bit more than others. Not claiming total success as I fail quite often, but it is working better for me than many of the other formats I have tried. Now to keep on moving and learning! Oh - I had to leave my journaling Bible on the shelf. While I really like it, the print is so small, I went back to a larger print version.

I'm glad you're back at it. It's something I never got in to with everything else I scrap.

I agree that it’s tough to be disciplined. Hopefully this new method will help you stay on track

Hmm - ever think you are just repeating yourself LOL I don't think easier is key here, not really sure what is key - other than taking the time for myself on a daily basis. This is one area I have successes and failures often. I don't know that I need to view lack of reading for a day (or week or month) failure, more like lack of taking care of myself? I know that being in God's word daily helps me beyond measure. I wish I understood why I resist the good things in life. Even if a read a verse and feel guilt, I can repent and pray and feel secure in the knowledge of forgiveness - or it could be I need to forgive someone else. Hmm. so, this title seems to work
