Punch storage - how do you store yours? Post a pic of your storage (no matter if it is good or bad) then answer 1) do you like it? 2) how would you change it? Winner to receive a punch (stamping/scrapbooking type one LOL - not the fruity drink)

Yes I do like it. Punch storage is hard, I really don't know of any other way to store them.

wow so all those boxes are punches? I do like your storage area - how did you find all those boxes to fit? Was it built for you?

Just one drawer has punches! I purchased at Michaels or A C Moore years ago. I think they were somewhere around 60% off (that's the only way I fly ) For the sections with the brown boxes- there are 4 sections each with 7 boxes. The boxes came with- they are very heavy, not light cardboard. Guess that is why I usually call them drawers. On top of those are 3 white pieces that you can configure different ways. I just planned and put together for the size space that I had. The 4th set of drawers does not have the white on top because I have a lamp there ( you can see my dollhouse house shaped storage container that has the stamps in it that I used from the tag swap that I didn't put away yet. )

Those are really neat! I haven't ever seen before. I had seen the white ones on top, but never the drawer/box combo. Looks really nice to use!

realized I didn't post mine (everyone has until October 3rd to post) this is my set of drawers. They are really not deep enough for clothing (worked for babies), but work perfect for scrapping! I realize they have taken a beating, but this is the 3rd household. They are very sturdy! not sure how to size these. a few items sometimes find their way into the drawers - that 2nd one needs cleaning out but that will wait. I also have a place for the oversize punches (those 8 ones that are about 8x8x5) and some of my Martha Stewart punch around page punches have a different drawer. Other drawers? Top 2 are card making paper - bottom 2 are ribbons and the other - adhesives (non-liquid).

That punch with the clock hands looks like it would be very useful

This is fine for me. I don't have too many punches, and no large crazy 8 type. in the second picture on the right you can see a black thing. that is a take-out tray, that fits perfectly to give an upper layer in the drawer.

Looks Like we all agree on the drawer/box idea is best for punches. I know I saw something one time where someone used a pegboard but that sure seems like it would take up a lot of space.

I remember the pegboard thing too. I just don't have that much space I can leave open for punches. Yep - great minds must think alike!

Ummm.... I am going to break the trend! This is my punch storage and I trash picked it. I definitely like the fact that it was free and that I can basically see all of my punches. Well, the two memory makers 8 huge punches are closer to me--but I don't really use them. The bad thing is that it is away from my desk, not within grabbing reach, so I do not use them as much as I would like. It sits on a half wall of the exercise room. In the very left of the picture, you can see the treadmill frame. The black and white next to the cuddle bug is one of Matt's toys that he would play with when down with me.

That looks like a nice set up. I would think that being out in the open like that you would be inclined to use them more

Out in room would be nice, but I think my cats would have a heyday (or the dogs). That is another reason I try to keep supplies wrapped/boxed up.

When I'm scrapping, it is easy to remain sitting and use things within reach. I may say to myself that I'm going to use a punch, but because it's not within sight, I forget about it. I would love to redo my storage area to put more things within reach but I am rather limited within my area.

That’s one good thing about a small space-just about everything is within reach

I'd like to reorganize, but nothing comes to mind.

if it is working - keep it as it is I only reorganize when I notice something is wrong (and had an idea to improve).
