Our 2-1\2 year old cat Sissy is ill. Scary ill. I noticed she was repeatedly going to the litter box yesterday morning. Because cats are prone to urinary and kidney issues I called the vet. They worked us in.
Long story short. She has some type of liver issue. She stayed at the vets last night so they can do a test on her today. Still a lot unknown. I'm heartbroken and worried right now. She's such a loveable cat. Not a foul fiber in her body. This could be an acute issue that will clear up with antibiotics and special diet. She does have a bladder stone, but that's not the primary issue. It too is treated with diet and antibiotics or surgery if necessary.
I always worry if I'm over reacting about when to seek medical care. Especially to be worked in. In this instance I made the right call. I just hope and pray we can get her better. I'm so very thankful I changed vets. I doubt the other office would have worked us in. At this he very least, not as compassionately as the staff I took her did.
While I was waiting to go back to the vet yesterday I did come home and clean up my craft table.

Kathy, I hope sissy is ok. Pet are part of the family-it’s hard not to worry when they are ill. It sounds like you made the right call with the vet.
