Artificial definitely. My allerfiea have worsened so a real tree would be unbearable.

Lots of real ones in the yard so if I need fresh pine, I can go outside.
Artificial here. Between cats eating real needles and then leaving their mess on the floor when they come back up and dogs deciding it is a real tree to mark, we went to artificial nearly 30 years ago. Neither of those two things are very Christmas-y
