I have crafts with my neighbors today. I'm working on a travellers notebook for a friend. I gave her husband my St Andrews journal. I think once he sort of understood it was his he likes it. She was very enthusiastic and wanted to write in it too but he rebuffed that idea. Made me smile just a bit.
Saturday I'm going to try to participate in an all day crop online. I have my Twizzlers and peanut M&Ms. A couple months ago I reconnected with a friend from the old CK board. She invited me to check out her online community so I did. They have a Zoom crop every Tuesday. Small group but good conversation. I think this is their 10th anniversary on Saturday.
Anyone doing crops? IRL or virtual? I think I like virtual crops. Although i expect Saturday to be much more chaotic with more people online. With online crops I don't have to move my stuff from point A to point B. I've looked up a few crop weekends in my general vicinity. I just can't get myself to sign up and go.

I have a group that meets about once a month, either at someone’s house on a Saturday. A couple times a year we do a weekend crop with a gal called Just Scrappin (Philadelphia area) on the Saturday crops, I travel light, maybe plan on a page or two, or organization. This is because we talk so much I don’t get much done LOL.

I haven’t done many in-line crops. I get distracted at home.

I love IRL crops. I would be too distracted at home for a virtual crop. I’m planning to go to a one-day crop here in town in April and weekend retreats in September and October, one 40 minutes away, the other two hours. I always prepare page kits and card kits to avoid taking too much stuff. Works well for me!

I just went to a weekend retreat last weekend. I had tons of fun, but I only made 12 cards and 5 scrapbook pages.
I have done a few online crops and card events. I do enjoy those, too!

I've done some online crops and I like them. The ones I do are all free and that's what I like the best!

I in person cropped all the time before the pandemic then online cropped through the pandemic but haven’t really done either in a long while.

The crop on Saturday was good. A few zany ladies kept the rest of us entertained. It wasn't chaos as I feared. They had several events planned that were well thought out and fun also. I try to participate in their smaller crop on Tuesdays. Both have their positive attributes. I'm the newbie and these ladies have been together for ten years. That was why the crop took place to celebrate ten years.
I did get a little bit done. I wasn't feeling 100% yesterday. Allergies..I think, which is new for me. I don't feel bad enough not to do my normal stuff but I surely don't feel wonderful.
DH didn't quite get it. I'm not really surprised.
