Went to a craft show in Mount Dora, Florida. Lovely town to visit if you find yourself in the Orlando area.
I bought a cork purse. Never have seen anything like it before. It's very lightweight and was very inexpensive.
A fair share of unique booths and also jewlery, soaps, candles like is normally found at craft shows. A couple hat booths. I now regret not looking closer at those, but whatever. I'm not a big spender. My friend, who watches every penny spent more than twice what I did.
There may have been one card booth, but I didn't look closely. My sister sells mini albums and journals at craft fairs in Ohio. It was interesting to see no one was at this one.
We went to the art show last year in Mount Dora. People on the bus trip who have been to both preferred the art show because of the uniqueness of the art. Everyone on our bus, with the exception of one person bought something. Crafts are more affordable than arts. It certainly wasn't a bust.
I did buy a decorative kitchen towel in one of the shops that say "Cat hair is my glitter." It was too appropriate not to buy.
What do you buy at craft shows.
