Hope you’re having fun!
I’m not actually crafting but am preparing for a one-day crop next month.

I signed up to attend a FOUR day crop in July. I made my room reservations and now just anticipating four days to play!
Karen, what crop are you doing?
I have found little time to craft and it's frustrating.
Enjoy your crops!

I have done several quilt retreats.
So here are my questions: Where and who sponsored the event? Did you go with a friend? How did y’all decide where to sit? How many totes did you bring with supplies? Other than printing phots and packing, what other prepping did you do?

How many totes did you bring with supplies? Other than printing phots and packing, what other prepping did you do? The retreats/crops I've attended in the past were when I lived in Kentucky. It was sponsored by our local state park. My sister came down from Ohio and a friend from work joined us. We always arrived early enough to pick the tables of our choice, usually a seat by a window. To be honest, for the one in July, I will be happy to be tucked in a corner. I took almost EVERYTHING ( I won't do that with my next retreat. I'm promising myself!) I'm terrible at making kits or even knowing what I want to work on, thus the reason to take too much stuff. I need to start a list, and have one in my head that I need to put on paper. I never really got a lot done. I'm going to my retreat in July alone so I have no excuse for not being productive.

How many totes did you bring with supplies? Other than printing phots and packing, what other prepping did you do? The one-day crop I’m going to next month is sponsored by Bluea Star Mothers. The two weekend retreats I’m going to this fall are sponsored by women who put on retreats several times a year. I go alone, I don’t have friends who scrap. But I get a lot done that way! The crop planners assign seats based on who you said you want to sit with. I usually bring two wheeled totes plus a couple of smaller bags that fit over the handles of the totes for ease of carrying. I always make page kits, otherwise I’d probably bring half my scrap room! I get a lot done at the retreat because I’m not agonizing over paper choices, layouts, etc. I’ve done all that ahead of time.

Here are my answers: Southeastern PA- a lady who runs crops as a business
I have a group of scrappy friends and there are always a couple who go. She assigns tables based on who you signed up with One big tote and lots of bags-filled up the back of my car. I have a collapsible wagon that I use to haul stuff in I go through and organize my photos and bring supplies based on the photos I will scrap. I shop for snacks for the weekend!

I had one of those carts! I'm not sure if I still do or it DH has pitched it! I'm hoping my next retreat won't require as many supplies. Maybe I can finally be more organized.
