Everyone realizes I have been knee (neck? ) deep in a total scrappy transformation (aka - includes all craft items in the entire house - including sewing of my bags - which I can now do again that the blisters have finally started going away!!!!!)
Soooo - you all are going to benefit (if you so choose)
It is swap time, with a twist.
1) I am still sorting swaps (found a rather large box of them that weren't sorted - hoping to finish by end of week)
2) I love swaps, but they really are even better when used
3) We all love creating swaps, but collecting isn't nearly as fun as using!
4) I didn't realize that I had duplicates of several items, so you will be benefiting. Either dry embossing folders or ultra thin die cuts. (some still in new packaging, some are not - I like opening things, so most have been opened, then I realized I already had it and for some reason, never returned the items) I will post your choice when I am done organizing.
Yes, it is a Swap Kind-of Thing!
------------------------------------------
Open: to all message board members (not a member - register and join in the fun)
Deadline: You must post pictures by September 20th. No prize drawings until then.
Prizes: all based on random draw. The more you enter, the more you can win. I may post once a week, once a day or only twice - you may enter each challenge as many times as you wish. Follow all rules or your name won't be included in the draw. Trying to keep it simple, so have fun and create!

2 Parts. Both photos to be posted in the same thread. Please only post one entry per thread. You must label the thread with Journal Spot Challenge Entry #_____ (number to be whatever entry number you are on - ex: make 4 journal spots, entries would be 1, 2, 3, 4)

2) Create a layout using a journal spot (either the one you just made or one from a swap - be sure to tell us which it is)!. Layout to include photos (blocking faces is fine), and all journalling and embellishments. Bonus draw - photo before and after it is in the album! No size restrictions - so it can be mini album page or 8x8 or 12 x 12 or 24x24 - whatever works as long as it includes the following items (1) photo(s), (2) journal spot(s) and (3) embellishment of some type.

Those are the first two challenges - one prize is Fall theme embossing folder, the other is a set of label thin dies (those nesting types - I don't remember brand or style, but will figure it out . I think it is a squiggle type label with four sizes. I know they work with my sizzix machines.
