I go pickup my new Journalling Bible this morning. I didn't get to see one in real life, but thinking it should be nice.
I know some of you have them - anyone willing to share? Or have you been able to get yourself to add photos/etc. to your Bible? That is my one concern - I am not sure I will be able to add pictures.

I will take a photo of my journaling Bible tomorrow and post it. I was not planning on using photos in mine, mostly because of the added thickness it would cause.

I don't mean actual photos, I guess drawings/paintings would be more accurate. However, my Bible is here and it has lines in the margins and some drawings throughout. I did a quick look through before Bible Study this morning and plan to read more in depth later this evening.

My journaling Bible does not have lines in the margins or drawings, it just has wider margins along the sides and bottom.
This page was done with a stamped image and colored pencils
I think the hardest part is doing the first one. This is not my main Bible so I do not feel like I am "defacing a Bible". I consider this part of my faith walk, so that is a good thing.

I write in my bible which is not specifically a journaling bible. I have a few doodles, but I think I will draw more and color now that I have seen your work!

Karen-totally off topic here, but how do you get your photos so small compared to mine? What vehicle do you use to post? I use Shutterfly.

beautiful job. I am still at the trying to get there. Writing I have always done (parochial school - we all wrote in our Bibles and highlighted and such).
Where did you get the stamp and what type of ink? Other than colored pencils - I am a bit nervous, though the pages are a bit thicker.

The stamp is from illustrated faith. For that one I used Stazon, I just pressed very lightly as I was a little bit afraid of bleed through. I am going to try other inks as well. You may want to just try something on a back page, just a small little cross stamp or something just to experiment. The one difference with The journaling Bibles ,they do seem a little bit thicker than a regular Bible page, but not as thick as a book page.

You do have to hit edit on the photo and then when the options come up you need to click on resize i usually enter 350 on mine. Hope that helps
