Haha sorry - here's the next one:
When Clara Clatter was purchasing her new parrot, the salesman assured her that it would repeat any word it heard. About a week later, Clara returned the parrot complaining it hadn't uttered a single word. Given that the salesman had spoken the truth about the parrot's abilities, why wouldn't the bird talk?

Yupp you got it Next: Shadow was examining an angle measuring 14 1/2 degrees, using his magnifying glass that magnifies everything two times. Under the glass, how large would that angle measure?

The angle would remain the same

Next:
Frank went to the hardware store to make a purchase for his house. He asked the clerk, "How much will one cost?" The clerk thought for a moment and said, "Three dollars." Frank, who looked a little puzzled said. "Well then, how much will twelve cost?" "Six dollars," replied the clerk. Frank scratched his head and said, "If I were to purchase two hundred, how much would that cost?" "That," said the clerk, "will cost you nine dollars." What was Frank buying?

There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug?

My first thought was just put the jugs of water in to the barrel - then I read it again
What if you froze the jugs of water then cut away the jug, you would have to blocks of ice and put them into the barrel?

Shadow had parked his car under a tree and was heading toward the suspect's house when a vicious dog lunged at him. Luckily for Shadow he was just beyond the dog's reach. Since the suspect wasn't home, Shadow decided to leave, but he had a slight problem. The dog, straining at the end of his chain, was following Shadow's every move. With the chain attached to the tree, the dog had access to both car doors. How could Shadow get into his car without the dog being able to reach him?

Clem and Joe work in a coal mine. At the end of the day, Clem and Joe come out of the mine and bid each other farewell for the night. Clem's face is dirty and Joe's face is clean. As Clem and Joe set out for home, Joe wipes his face and Clem doesn't bother, why doesn't Clem clean his face?
