I know I love to purchase paper packs. Judging from how many there are and how widely available - many others like them too!
How about another swap using paper packs? There are a few catches as this won't be a standard swap (sort of) CLOSING DATE FOR THIS SWAP IS JULY 20, 2014
1) DCWV is one of the most common, but it isn't the only one so I don't want to limit anyone to one line (Making memories, G45, the ones from Hobby Lobby, and more)
2) No, it doesn't have to be a paper pack - you can use a line of paper, but all paper used is to be the same line (ex: Bo bunny Camp-a-lot or Fancy Pants Simplicity)
3) The line doesn't have to be new, but it is a fun excuse to buy some new papers . If old/hard to find, maybe consider including a few 6x6 of the pp in the embellishment baggie.
4) If you choose a line that is not cardstock, please be sure all your items have a cardstock base (aka - if paper line - use cardstock for mounting all items - much as I love some of The Paper Studio packs - none I have purchased are cardstock and all would require backing)
5) Have fun! All kits do not need to match (paper line wise), but they do need to include the same elements
Soooo - here is how this swap will work
Kits are to be as follows:
1) One photo mat (size will vary with scrap size, but if smaller than 4x6 photo, please make 2)
2) Two borders
3) deco squares (2-3" or 3-2") or one paper piecing
4) Four inchies or 2 jumbo (2.5") paper clips
5) Five item types embellishment baggie (example could be: die cuts from paper line, ribbon, brads, 4 stamped images, un-embellished die cut border strips or 6x6 pieces of the pp)
6) Six pieces of 4x6 papers of same cardstock used for kit
7) One (your choice) - A Title (die cut and layered) or a title block (die cut and layered) or title ATC's or just lettering (all items to have layering and embellishing)
8) One Tag (your choice) - roughly 6x3 tag OR 2 smaller tags - use a technique and include the how (ex: use washi tape or tea die or any of the techniques in the monthly challenge area, or any you have seen, etc.)
TAKE SOME PHOTOS - you can send to me or post yourself (no names of who going to - it will be fun to guess). Post one item at a time or an entire group. I do ask that everyone post at least 3 photos from each kit they create. If issues, send to me and I will post for you.
If you want to join in the fun - you need to answer some questions. Don't worry, they are easy.
The goal is to create a kit based on an individual's likes. Limit of 3 kits max for any swapper to make
I will assign partners by 7/20 if needed. If only 4 sign up, then everyone will create for each other.

Yes, this is a challenging swap, but have fun with it. It is amazing how much you tend to learn when creating something out of your routine element. That has been one of my greatest area's of learning, so kind of the reason behind this swap.

Questions - you may answer up to three items each (sample will follow):
1) Do you prefer brights, pastels, earth tones, neutrals, or other color scheme? (pick up to three colors - creator may add black/white/kraft to the mix)
2) Would you like a travel, birthday, heritage, or other theme?
3) What size do you plan to scrap for this project(s)? 12x12, 8.5 x 11, mini
4) Anything to avoid?
5) Any particular title/title ideas?
______________________________________________________
Sample answers
1) brights - kids summer day at beach - 12 x 12 - no cocktail glasses/drinks (lemonade ok) - Fun in the Sun
2) Earth Tones - camping vacation - mini album (6x8) - no fishing or swimming - hiking/camping/site seeing only - Landville County, South Carolina
3) Vintage/dusty colors - Heritage 1930's - 12 x 12 - no neon or bright colors - Bridal Shower

Does this make sense?
You will make one kit per person. You do not have to tell which of the answers you are using to create.
